REALITY

Reality, in everyday usage, means "the state of things as they actually exist".
People often say, "I need to escape from reality and go on vacation". Well, it is still reality. Our world is so far gone as far as what is "real". This holiday has been a wonderful dose of reality for me. I have rediscovered myself in many ways. Self reflection has been key on this trip. Often I get to caught up in "who I am".... I forget all the basic princples of "who I REALLY am". I forget all the people that have helped me be who I am today...... you know who you are. I forget to be thankful for each day and the blessings that God has bestowed upon me.
I have not forgotten, and I vow to remeber how wonderful life is.

Simple done well, is better than complicated done poorly!

This morning I woke up to another day of beauty.
If I have learned anything on this vacation, it is to RELAX.
I love to hang out with Amber because she reminds me that the world does not have to be so complicated. The sun will rise and fall, people will come and go, and days are meant to be enjoyed. I know not everday is a perfect day, but this vacation has come pretty close to perfection.
As I am typing this, my suitcase is a huge mess..... and I do not care. My hair is a knotted mess... I do not care. My ass is still huge.... I do not care.
I know that this may shock and alarm those of you who know me:) I have even been late to scheduled plans:) What a change. The world functions at a slower pace down here. It is refreshing. When I moved from Milwaukee to Lomira my world slowed emensily. This area of Flordia is really on Mexican time(sorry Lauren).
I guess I have finally put the stresses of work,life, and time into a large ball and threw it out into the ocean. I feel the best I have in years. Anyway... off to another day of bliss.

Sun and Fun

Amber and I have made it to Flordia. The road trip was cool. Yesterday we went to the warm mineral springs. It was a cool hippie place and we were the only people not speaking Russian. Anyway here is the website to check it out. We came back to the condo and then took along walk on the beach. It was an awesome day!

the best day of my life... 8 years ago today!

Today is Emi J's 8th b-day. I remeber today as if it were yesterday. Oh, where have the years gone. I love my Emi more than anything in the world.... so please wish her a happy B-day today.
