Cultures, Cultures, and more subcultures

A great person should be able to adapt to any other person and any situation.
When I was in Japan I was having these crazy dreams. I was dreaming in three languages. I was dreaming in Spanish,Japanese, and in English....I was not sure what was going to come out of my mouth in the morning. When you can say, "hi,si,and yes".... it all gets a bit confusing. Well, getting back to work, I am reminded that I must again... adapt to different people and another culture. It can sometimes be overwhelming. America is so wonderful with all the diversity in life, but sometimes you can get overloaded on diversity and it is nice to be around people who are like you. I guess today... turkey day, I will go visit my multicultural family and be again, around people like me:)
Happy Turkey Day!!

There has been lots of travel since my feet touched down on the island. Yesterday, I went to Nara. It was an adventure.... first the subway and then the train. I finally ended up in Nara.... and it was so gorgeous. I went around Nara with a tour guide... Takuma. We spent hours in the deer park, and saw many shrines and the largest Buddha in the world. Today was a bit of resting, my batteries were starting to wear out. So here some pics from the journey..... and it was awesome.

Beauty is often different things to different people. Each one of us sees the world through each of our own experiences...... today was a great indication of that. No matter what culture, beauty exists in it's own element.

Zen..... and the art of WHAT?

Well, today was an awesome day. I went on tour of a great zen garden in downtown Kyoto. It was so cool. I had goosebumps just being there. I then went to Jusco...(Japanese version of Walmart).I got some gifts for some people and had coffee at Mary's University. Overall...... the motorcycle has had it's maintance. Here are some pics of today.
