Greetings from Japan

Well, I made the trip just fine. I finally had some nice people to talk to on the flight. When Mary picked me up at the airport and we got the house around seven, then it was a little talking and some sleep. I have my own room complete with fresh flowers, tatami mats, and a freshly made futon. Thanks, Aunt Mary. It is like staying in a ritzy hotel. It is a big change from Lomira, Wisconsin. I had a great day today. Liam took me around downtown Kyoto. Things have really changed here in the last seven years. The fashions here have gotten very westernized and some of the landmarks that I loved are gone... they are now replaced with Circle K's....look it up everyone. Liam and I went to Shijo. It is a huge shopping center. This center is approximately 5 miles large. Lots of fun shops....like gaming, restaurants, and more fun.We ate awesome crepes. The crepes here are like ice cream cones, Liam and I had some banana ones...yummy. Liam was a great little guide. We hit all the gun, knife, camo, and sword stores:) I am pretty tired and Mary and I are going to be leaving early tommorrow......so goodnight moon....no matter what side of the world you are on. Here are some pictures from today.
